LONG BEACH (CBS Riverside) — Caught on video, a tow truck driver repossessing a car in Compton tries to get away from two cars that were chasing him, as the man who owns the car being towed away hangs on for the wild ride.
In the video you can see sparks flying as a repossessed car being hauled by the tow truck crazily swings from side to side as it get dragged on the asphalt, from Compton to Long Beach.
According to CBS Los Angeles, the recording was taken by one of the drivers who was chasing the truck. And the man who was hanging on for the ride wound up breaking the back window of the tow truck with a crowbar.
Long Beach police eventually pulled over the tow truck driver. Reportedly neither man was arrested in the incident.
